How to Shop
Our products are divided into four categories: lighting, home decor, art and novelties. To shop, simply select a category or click on the text links at the bottom of each page. To add an item to your shopping cart, click on the Add to Cart button. Just because you've added an item to the shopping cart doesn't mean that you're committed to buying it -- you can always change your mind.
For every in-stock item, there will be an Add to Cart button. Many of our items are unique -- once they've been ordered, they're no longer available. We do our best to monitor our sales and remove the Add to Cart button from such items, as soon as a customer has placed an order for a one-of-a-kind item. If you choose an item that is no longer available, we will notify you by email as quickly as possible. In some cases, we may be able to suggest a similar item.
You can fill your shopping cart with as many items as you'd like. Once an item has been placed in your shopping cart, you can remove it if you change your mind. To check out and purchase your item(s), choose the SHOW ORDER button and continue through the check-out process.
Forms of Payment
We accept American Express, MasterCard, JCB and Visa. Orders are processed via our secure servers. We reserve the right to refuse any order for which we are unable to verify the billing information. Your billing address must match the billing address for your credit card. If you cannot provide us with the right billing address, we will cancel your order.
If you would like to email your order, contact us and we'll tell you how. Or you can call us at 775-856-4299. If you get our voicemail, please leave a message with the best time to return your call. Please realize that we are an online company and while we'd prefer you place your order over the internet, we are happy to answer your questions over the phone. Please be aware that it may take us up to 24 hours to return your call. You may also fax your order to 775-856-4277.
Important: Made-to-Order Cancellation and Restocking Fee
For the items that we make-to-order (which includes all our wall sconces, hanging lights and metal sculptures in excess of one foot tall), we charge a 10% cancellation fee if you decide to cancel your order more than one week after you have placed it.
A 10% restocking fee is charged for return of all made-to-order wall sconces and hanging lights and oversize metal art (in excess of 1 ft). Defective items will be replaced without a restocking fee. Custom orders are not returnable.
We accept international orders, but all foreign orders must be shipped to the same address to which the credit card is billed.
All customs duties and import fees are assumed by the buyer or the recipient of the package. The buyer/recipient of the package is responsible for resolving any and all customs problems. If your country has specific laws or regulations regarding the import of the item or items you've order, please make us aware of these by including this information in the "Comments" section of your order.
We reserve the right to cancel orders from countries in which we have had problems with fraud or orders placed by those with free email accounts.
Problems with Orders
We will make two reasonable attempts to contact you if a problem arises with your order. If we do not hear back from you within three days of our second attempt, we reserve the right to cancel your order.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. It is against our policy to ship orders to customers with free email addresses, such as hotmail. We also reserve the right to cancel orders made from countries from which we've received fradulent orders in the past. We reserve the right to cancel an order for any reason, which we may disclose or not, as we see fit.
All prices listed are in U.S. dollars.

There are three ways to find what you're looking for:
From the home page, you can click on the direct links to the categories of merchandise or content. The shopping categories are represented by the icons on the left margin of the page. There are also specials listed on the front page. To see more detail or to purchase the item, simply click on its picture or link.
Kokopelli's Treasures has an alphabetical index of the items and content in our store. Click on the 'Index' button on the home page to view the list.
Click on the 'Search' button on the home page and enter the word or product you're looking for.
To go home, click on the black Kokopelli figure (the top icon in the left margin) or click on the Kokopelli's Treasures logo.
Our content includes 'Family MATTERS!' and 'Secrets of Life and Culture'. 'Family MATTERS!' includes articles on conscious parenting (with topics ranging from discipline to childhood development) and kidsafe web site links. The links are divided by age group. This is a page for your entire family. (Indeed, Kokopelli's Treasures, as a whole, is a family-friendly site.)
'Secrets of Life and Culture' contains interesting tidbits about Native American culture, history and gems of wisdom about life in general.

Pieces of art are guaranteed to be Native American made when stipulated in the description of the item. Many of our artists (except the camera shy or highly private) will be featured in our ever evolving section, 'Meet the Artists.'
Shopping on the internet is a new experience for all of us. Although it might seem risky, our site operates on secure servers (using an advanced encryption technology) to guarantee the confidentiality of your information. This means that unscrupulous characters cannot gain access to your credit card number or other personal information. At Kokopelli's Treasures you can shop with confidence, anonymity and safety. Also, the fact that our store is hosted on Yahoo's servers gives our shoppers an added feeling of security. After all Yahoo's reputation is paralleled by none. For those who would rather fax in their orders, we will have a fax line available soon.
We give you our solemn pledge that your name, address, email address, credit card number and other information will be kept strictly confidential. We do not sell, rent or loan out our lists. We consider our patrons honored guests and promise to treat you as such.

From time to time, Kokopelli's Treasures will divulge aggregate or summary information regarding the demographics and buying habits of its customers as a whole. It is our pledge to you that specific personal information or buying habits of individuals will be held in the strictest of confidence.
All items carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. Returns must be sent back undamaged and unused within 30 days of receipt. Items must be returned in the original packaging. If you return items and do not insure them and they break, then you are responsible for the cost of the item. Make sure you enclose the original invoice with your return. Protect yourself and insure all returns for the full amount of the order. Your return will be processed promptly for the full amount of your order minus shipping costs. Allow 30-60 days for the credit to appear on your statement. All customers returning items after thirty days, will be issued a store credit in lieu of a refund. Items may not be returned for store credit after 60 days.
Tax is added (after shipping) to items shipped within the state of Nevada, where Kokopelli's Treasures is located. The tax rate will be applied for the county in which the item was received.
We ship UPS and Priority Mail. Shipping charges are added at the time of shipment and are based on where you live and how much it costs us to pack and ship your order. We add one dollar to the shipping cost for the handling. Although your shipping costs are added later, it is nice to know that your costs are based on what it cost us to ship your item to YOU. We do our best to select the method of shipment that will be most cost effective for you. Although many Internet companies claim their shipping is free, be aware that you may be paying for it by paying a higher price per item. We have not and will not ever ship our items for free.
We do not ship rush orders. Please place your order in plenty of time for your item or gift to arrive. We will ship your item within the timeframe specified in the Availability Field for each item. If the item is backordered and we cannot ship within the availability timeframe, we will contact you. Otherwise, please assume that you will receive your item within the timeframe specified.
Although many people think that UPS Ground is the least expensive means of shipping, Priority Mail is often less expensive and faster for smaller items.
UPS will not ship to postal boxes, so you must provide a physical address. We also ship internationally. For some items, particularly the heavy items like the MasagrilTM (which weighs in excess of 700 lbs), we will have to determine the shipping cost and get back to you with the total amount for your order. For heavy items, such as furniture, we ship by common freight.
